• Zak "Dr. Dunk" Potts is a proud Texan originally from Fort Worth, Texas. Zak received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with minors in Business and Gerontology from Brigham Young University. He walked on to the Track and Field team his freshman year as a pole vaulter but soon found his calling as the BYU mascot "Cosmo the Cougar" and performed from 2015-2019. His most notable stunt as Cosmo was the 3-point basket-toss dunk. Zak was also a member of the BYU and Utah Jazz Dunk teams where he has traveled as far as China to perform his acrobatic dunking for thousands of fans.

Zak returned to Texas to attend Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024. There, he was a graduate assistant where he ran the anatomy lab, truly honing in his knowledge of the human body. Zak graduated at the top of his class with honors for his clinical experience and was voted most likely to know what life was like before the internet.

Zak currently resides in Heber, Utah with his beautiful wife and son. Together they love hiking, camping, biking, and playing an array of sports. Zak still dunks occasionally with "The Dunk Team" and will perform flips for tips in the office if requested. However, his favorite past time is spending time with his wife and teaching his son to do stunts.
